We’re
extremely excited to announce that PROLAPSE will be playing for us in
May. Having recently reunited for Mogwai’s series of 20th Anniversary
shows in June, Prolapse have reformed with their original lineup and
have well and truly stepped back into the realm of live music.
The once
Leicester-based six piece, fronted by both Linda Steelyard and
“Scottish” Mick Derrick split around the turn of the millennium after
having released four immense albums (for Cherry Red, Lissy’s, Radar and
Cooking Vinyl) and were well known for their exhilarating live
performances which focused around the tension and energy between
co-vocalists. This concert at The Victoria on May 29th will be the
band’s first show in London for 16 years!
