The North is built on a riff that has been rattling around my head for the last 3 years, we could never find the right way to use it. The lyrics struck me on my birthday in 2019, we were in Europe on tour and we had played 28 shows in the past 30 days. I took the rough sketch of the song home with me & after a few weeks the final iteration of “The North” was complete. Jack Cherry of Vintage Crop
